Directions to Northern Lights Lodge

Stowe is located in north-central Vermont, due east of Burlington and north-west of Montpelier.  Interstate 89 is the closest freeway access, then it's less than 20 minutes to Northern Lights Lodge.

From Exit 10 on Interstate 89, take Route 100 north for about 9.9 miles, through Waterbury and Waterbury Center.  At the three way stop in the Stowe Lower Village (your first stop), turn left on Route 108, also known as Mountain Road.  Follow Route 108 for about 4.4 miles, and Northern Lights Lodge is on the left, just after the road finishes a long bend to the left.

We're just over a 3 hour drive from the Boston and Hartford areas, and just over 2 hours from Montreal.  And you get to enjoy the spectacular views of the Vermont countryside along the way.

We're also just 40 minutes from Vermont's largest airport, Burlington International Airport (BTV), serviced by several national airlines,  including jetBlue, Continental Airlines, The Delta Connection, United Airlines, and US Airways, and all national car rental agencies.

Getting To Stowe By Plane or Train (or even part way by Boat!)

jetBlue has great rates for air travel between JFK in New York and Burlington, Vermont (BTV).

Amtrak runs a daily train from New York and Washington, DC to Vermont with a stop in Waterbury-Stowe (station code WAB)

 Lake Champlain Ferries offers a nice shortcut when travelling from Western & Northern New York, Ontario and points beyond!
