The
Stowe Antique & Classic
Car Meet is a very
popular car show, sponsored by the Vermont Automobile
Enthusiasts, that takes place the second weekend in August each year.
The next show is scheduled for August 11-13, 2006. |

The British Invasion
is an annual four day celebration of the British motorcar and all manner
of other things British, starting the third Thursday in September.
It is the largest all-British car show on the East coast with hundreds of cars exhibited combined with many other "British" activities. The
next show is scheduled for September 14-17, 2006. |

The Vermont
Mozart Festival is annual celebration of the works of not just Mozart,
but Bach, Vivaldi, Gershwin and others. It takes place partly in
Stowe at Trapp Family Lodge in a great outdoor amphitheatre setting, from
mid-July to early August on Sunday evenings. |

The Music
In The Meadow is annual series of renowned musicians performing in
the Trapp Family Lodge Concert Meadow. The series is sponsored by
Stowe Performing Arts, a non-profit
organization that also offers other free concerts during the summer season. |

On the
last weekend of September, the Stowe
Oktoberfest celebrates the harvest and fall foliage and transforms
the Jackson Ice Arena into a Bavarian village. There's a huge
parade, authentic German foods, freshly brewed Vermont beers, live music
including Oompah Bands and of course, dancing. Great children's activities
include the famous Kasperle Puppet Theater, pumpkin and face painting and
a Jumping Fun Haus. Come eat, dance, and enjoy all the festivities
that make for a great family event.
