Northern Lights Lodge
The Northern Lights Lodge is an affordable, family-friendly Lodge, located just minutes from some of the Northeast's best skiing, hiking, mountain biking, restaurants, shops, and attractions.
We are the closest affordable hotel to the Stowe Mountain Resort, which is just a 3 minute drive or a free 5 minute bus ride away. Cross-country skiing is available just a few minutes away at the Stowe cross-country center and the Trapp Family Lodge. Nearby mountain biking options include Cady Hill Forest and Adams Camp. The Stowe Recreation Path is just a 3 minute walk from our Lodge. Other nearby attractions include Bingham Falls (3 minute drive), the Alchemist Brewery (5 minute drive), the Ben and Jerry's Factory (20 minute drive), and the Cold Hollow Cider Mill (20 minute drive).
Amenities at our Lodge include free WiFi, a heated indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, games room, and lounge with fireplace. During July and August, we also offer an outdoor pool. A Weber gas grill is also available for use during the summer months. All of these amenities are included free of charge with your stay. Unlike most Stowe hotels, we do not charge any resort fees or service fees.
While most affordable hotels in our area only offer a small, cold, continental breakfast, we offer our guests Stowe's largest complimentary hot buffet, which includes fresh scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, french toast, muffins, scones, breads, fruit, juices, and coffee, which will give you plenty of energy for your day's activities.
We are excited to be one of Stowe's greenest hotels. We have worked tirelessly to make the lodge more energy efficient and reduce our carbon footprint. In December 2019 we complete our most recent project, a 20KW solar canopy, which provides about 25% of the electricity for our main lodge building. It also includes two Level2 chargers, which provide complimentary charging to our guests with electric vehicles.
We hope you consider us for your visit to Stowe. We will do everything we can to exceed all of your expectations,
Mike and Shannon
